Shut-ins and people without family are often disconnected from community. Loss of support systems is common for seniors and physical and mental deterioration can also challenge them. Widowhood and loss of close friends, those who don't have children and those whose children live far away have few social outlets and no advocacy on their behalf. Help keep these people connected with community and resources. The Israeli government provides only limited resources to these individuals.
